CIRCULATING OIL SYS

Pump draws oil from the tank to the cooler and filter(of min 50micron) and therefore delivers to branches Y,U,R

                Y :           via camshaft booster pumps to the camshaft brgs, roller guides and exhaust valve actuators

                U :          via telescopic pipe to piston cooling manifold, where it is distributed btw piston cooling and brg lubrication. From crosshead lubr, oil goes thru the bore to the con rod brg.

                                Piston cooling oil is supplied via telescopic pipe fixed to a bracket on the cross head. From here it is distributed to the crosshead brg, guide shoes, crank pin brg, and to the piston crown.
